All Munkis — Privacy Policy

All Munkis is a small music sandbox for kids, published by Onion Madder. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have. It's short because the app is deliberately simple: there are no ads, no accounts, no trackers, no analytics inside the app, and your information is never sold or shared with third parties.

What we collect
Nothing. The Android app makes no network requests. Specifically, All Munkis does not request, capture, transmit, or otherwise collect any of the following:
- Personal information (name, email, phone, mailing address)
- Account identifiers, sign-in credentials, or social profiles
- Photos, camera input, microphone input, or any media on the device
- Precise location, IP-based location, or any geolocation data
- Contacts, calendar entries, health data, or device sensors
- Advertising identifiers (AAID), device fingerprints, or analytics events
- Behavioural data, usage telemetry, error reports, or crash logs
The app has no analytics beacon, loads no web fonts, and contacts no servers — not ours, not anyone's. Everything it needs is bundled inside the app.
What the app stores on your device
All Munkis saves your game progress — unlocked Munkis, hidden achievements you've discovered, your moon-point total, and which "seventh wheel" Munki you last chose — to your device's local storage, inside the app's private sandbox. On Android we also mirror this to the operating system's app-preferences store so it survives a WebView data clear. It never leaves your device.
Uninstalling All Munkis deletes this progress. There is no cloud backup and no account, by design — which is also why there is nothing for anyone to breach, sell, or subpoena.
What we do not collect
No advertising identifiers, no location, no contacts, no photos, no analytics or behavioural tracking, no crash-reporting SDKs. The app requests no runtime permissions.
The web version
All Munkis is also playable in your browser here at onionmadder.com/apps/all-munkis/play/. The web version uses a self-hosted, privacy-respecting page-view counter (GoatCounter) that logs an anonymous request count for this site — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal data collected, no third-party sharing. If you'd rather no page-view is logged, install any ad-blocker or use a privacy-focused browser; the game itself still works. The Android app has no counter and makes no network requests at all.
COPPA & GDPR-K
All Munkis is designed for children, including those under 13 (US) and under 16 (EU). Because we collect no personal information from anyone, there is nothing to disclose to parents, no profile to build, and no consent to manage:
- COPPA (US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act): we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 — or from anyone.
- GDPR-K (EU): no personal data is processed.
- Google Play Families Policy / Designed for Families: no ads, no in-app purchases, no third-party analytics, no unfiltered external links inside the app, no data collection.
Links out of the app
The Android build of All Munkis has no links that leave the app — the cross-site navigation present on the web version is removed from the packaged app specifically so a child can't tap out to the open web.
Third-party services
None inside the Android app. The only software bundled besides our own is the open-source Tone.js audio library (MIT licensed), which runs entirely on-device and makes no network calls. The web version additionally loads GoatCounter (see above) — that is the only external network call from the web page and it is not present in the Android app.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add data collection, advertising, or third-party services to All Munkis (we don't plan to), we will update this page with a new "Last updated" date before the change ships, and document exactly what is collected and how to opt out.
