mComic'96

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 August 2026

mComic '96 collects nothing, sends nothing, and contains no advertising or analytics. It has no server. It works with the network turned off, because it never uses it.

mComic '96 is made by Onion Madder. This policy covers the mComic '96 Android app.

What the app collects

Nothing.

There is no account, no sign-in, and no identifier of any kind. The app does not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, device identifiers, usage statistics, or crash reports.

What the app stores, and where

The comics you write are saved in the app's own storage on your device, so they are still there the next time you open it. They never leave your phone unless you choose to share one.

That storage is part of the app. Uninstalling mComic '96 deletes it, and so does clearing the app's data from Android's app settings. There is no copy anywhere else — which also means there is no backup. If you delete a comic, it is gone.

Network access

mComic '96 makes no network requests. Every character, background and font is built into the app itself, so there is nothing to download and nothing to report back.

The app declares the INTERNET permission because the Android framework it is built on requests it as standard. The app does not use it.

Sharing a comic

When you export a comic, the app hands the finished picture to Android's own share sheet, and you choose what happens to it — save it, message it, post it, or cancel. That choice is yours and is made outside mComic '96.

Once you hand a picture to another app, that app's privacy policy governs what happens to it. We have no involvement in and no visibility of that step.

Children

mComic '96 is not directed at children under 13, and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Third parties

There are none. No advertising networks, no analytics providers, no crash reporting services, no software development kits that phone home.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever collects or transmits anything, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described here rather than quietly folded in.
